Saved and Healed
Being justified freely
by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus. -Romans 3:24
Once believers receive a revelation
of the redemption Jesus purchased on the Cross, it changes them. Nothing can
stop them anymore! I’m not talking about a mental assent to the truth. I’m
talking about people who say from their hearts, “Yes, that’s the truth, and the
truth is setting me free!”
Consider how a person is
adopted into God’s family. The minute a person finds out Jesus’ blood was shed
for the forgiveness of his sins, he can confess Jesus as his Savior, and not a
devil in hell can stop him from getting born again! Peace and fellowship with
God are available to anyone who receives Jesus in faith.
The same thing happens in
the area of healing when people discover the truth that healing is included in
the Atonement. Miracles abound when people act on that revelation. As believers
proclaim that Jesus redeemed mankind from both sin and sickness, people jump up
to get saved and healed at the same time!
As believers, we have to
establish the truth in our hearts that just as Jesus’ blood was shed for us,
His body was broken for us. Then we will not only be saved, but we will also
rise up healed!
CONFESSION:
Jesus gave Himself as
the sacrifice for my total redemption from the kingdom of darkness. Therefore,
I receive healing from the Father as freely as I received salvation!
